Reading and Phonics
At Barrow Hall, we use 'Floppy's Phonics' to support our delivery of phonics teaching.
This scheme is part of the DfE approved list of Systematic Synthetic Phonics Schemes
During the year, parents/carers of pupils in Reception will have the opportunity to 'join in' phonics lessons via Microsoft Teams. We will also provide parent/carer sessions on 'how to help your child learn to read'. Details will be sent home via SchoolPing.
