- Class 4D (Mrs Birkett) Y5
- Class 5D (Mr Mackenzie) Y5
Our aim is to give every child a strong education whilst at the same time develop the child as a person. We aim to ensure that every child who leaves Key Stage 2 has a positive self image and is a willing, self-motivated learner with the skills to succeed in Key Stage 3 and beyond.
The pastoral care of the child is something that we as a staff feel strongly about and this is reflected in our mission statement:
"We are here to feel secure, be valued
and to learn"
Last year we began to introduce a "Creative Curriculum" for the teaching of Foundation Subjects and this proved to be a great success. We will continue to do so this year.
We also have very strong links with Great Sankey High School, which is situated next door, and work hard to ensure that the child's transition to the high school is a smooth one.
